The Nutrition Alliance for Planetary Health and Budgets (NAPHBUT) is a women-led grassroot community based organisation that works to improve nutrition and planetary health through advocating for transparency, accountability and participation (TAP) in public budgets.
NAPHBUT believes that budget transparency and accountability is essential for ensuring that governments not only prioritize and invest in nutrition interventions, but also are accountable and provide participation spaces at all stages of the budget process at both national and county levels.
The alliance is committed to working with communities, governments, civil society, and the private sector to improve nutrition and planetary health through budget advocacy.
We work to build a movement of people from all sectors who are committed to transformative actions in contributing to the efforts of reducing malnutrition cases worsening as a result of climate change. We believe in the interconnectedness of these issues, and that addressing them together is essential in creating a healthier and more sustainable future for all.
NAPHBUT has a strong team of experts and advocates, and through working with other like minded partners, is well-positioned to make a significant impact on the future of nutrition, planetary health through budget advocacy at the national and county level discussions.
